Matthew McDaniel

Matthew McDaniel, Jefferson Junior High School, Caldwell, spent over 45 hours helping mentally and physically disabled people bowl. Every Monday for six months, he went to a nearby bowling alley to assist a group of 13- to 75-year-olds in any way he could. McDaniel earned a "Disability Awareness" merit badge from Boy Scouts for his work with the bowling program.

"Service is a great way to help out the community and demonstrate that you care."
