Aaron Soto, Picacho Middle School, Las Cruces, provides technical computer support and training to educators at his school. He trained the teachers during a four-day instructional session, which took more than 60 hours to prepare for. Soto has been appointed by the State Board of Education to the Council on Technology in Education for a four-year term representing all of New Mexico's public-school students. He gave a technical presentation at the Southern New Mexico Technology Conference this fall.
