Christopher Walker, Green Valley High School, Henderson, developed a sound system that provides music and voice stimulation to newborns with complications. After months of extensive research and with a doctor's guidance, he sent a complete proposal for the system, called "Operation: Good Vibrations," to companies that produce neonatal isolettes (incubators). He received positive feedback from one of the manufacturers, and may soon see his project help comfort newborns who cannot be physically touched due to their condition.
