Distinguished Finalist

Susan Vinyard, 16, of Downers Grove, Ill., a sophomore at Downers Grove North High School, founded "Hats Off to You" when she was 10 years old to provide hats for children who lose their hair due to medical treatments. Since then, Susan has distributed more than 3,000 hats, and has personally made 75 percent of them.
