Distinguished Finalist

Michellay Cole, 17, of Washington, D.C., a senior at Bell Multicultural Senior High School, volunteered in a variety of positions for Inner Vision, an organization that serves as a place where youth can express talents outside of their school's regular curriculum. Michellay gave spoken word performances for children, mentored other participants, researched and taught classes on social justice, recruited new members, raised funds, and served as acting director during the summer.
