Distinguished Finalist

Richard Rothstein, 13, of Potomac, Maryland, an eighth-grader at Herbert Hoover Middle School, organized a dance marathon for middle level students called, "Be-Cuz We Care," which raised $13,000 to send underprivileged children to summer camp. Richard hosted the event with a cousin to honor another cousin who had died in a car accident.
