David Sanchez, 18, of Racine, Wis., a senior at The Prairie School, created "Job-Link Racine," a program that provides job-readiness training and finds part-time jobs for homeless and low-income high school teenagers living in Racine County. After obtaining a $10,000 grant to fund his project, David offered interviews to 800 teens and collaborated with a workforce development center to place 220 of them in part-time jobs last summer.
