Distinguished Finalist

Danielle Matthews, 17, of St. Paul, Ind., a senior at North Decatur High School in Greensburg, raised more than $4,000 over the past three years to fund camp trips to the Indiana Hoosier Burn Camp for four young burn victims. Danielle, who also volunteers with the local fire department, raised the money by hosting bake sales, spaghetti dinners, a boot drive and raffles.
