Distinguished Finalist

Rachel Dalton, 18, of Pekin, Ind., a senior at Eastern High School, raised nearly $4,250 through the "Run for the Village," a 5K charity race she organized two years in a row. All of the proceeds benefit the Eden Children's Village in Mhangura, Zimbabwe, which provides AIDS orphans with an education, as well as spiritual, emotional, and medical care.
