Distinguished Finalist

Callie Deanda, 15, of Sevierville, Tenn., a sophomore at Sevier County High School, has helped her family raise more than $225,000 every year through the cystic fibrosis research charity they founded called "Cure Finders Foundation." Callie, who like her brother struggles with cystic fibrosis, has helped since she was very young with various aspects of fundraising events, including running a raffle, speaking publicly about the foundation and helping to educate those who are newly diagnosed.
