Distinguished Finalist

Miana Mahaffey, 16, of South Pittsburg, Tenn., a sophomore at Richard Hardy Memorial School, collected books, toys, crafts, baby items, and hygiene products and donated them to Thompson Children's Hospital. Miana spent last summer coordinating the collection she calls "Make a Difference," and encouraged her church and others to help donate to the project.
