Kestrel Troutman

Kestrel Troutman, 18, of Maryville, Tenn., a member of Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians and a senior at Maryville High School, directed and produced a series of videos to document the stories of volunteers who have served more than 10,000 hours with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Kestrel, who has served 400 hours with the park, organized a team of people to help her share the stories of those who had dedicated so much time to serving visitors through park maintenance and education.
